We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from initial concept through to completion. This role will suit a confident and organised professional who can manage competing priorities, build strong relationships and deliver measurable outcomes within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.


You will take ownership of project planning, governance and execution, working closely with senior stakeholders, technical specialists, suppliers and delivery teams. The successful candidate will bring a structured approach to managing risk, resolving issues and maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, ensuring objectives, milestones and benefits are clearly defined and achieved.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, resource forecasts and governance documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Monitor progress, performance, costs and dependencies, providing clear and accurate reports to senior stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues and change requests, implementing effective mitigation and escalation plans.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and decision-making forums, ensuring actions are documented and followed through.
• Champion continuous improvement, lessons learned and consistent project management practices.
• Ensure all project activity complies with relevant policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and quality expectations.

About you


You will have substantial experience managing complex projects, ideally within a fast-paced or transformational environment. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, would be advantageous. You should be comfortable working with senior decision-makers and able to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans.


Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, together with strong financial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be confident using project management tools and reporting systems, highly organised, and able to adapt your approach as priorities evolve.
