Role Description The Counselor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Greater Orlando area. This position provides individual and group counseling, conducts assessments, and develops evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to client needs. The Counselor maintains accurate and timely documentation, coordinates care with partnering agencies, and participates in multidisciplinary case reviews. Daily responsibilities include facilitating psychoeducational groups, supporting reentry and recovery goals, monitoring client progress, and responding to crisis situations using established protocols. The role also involves ongoing professional development, adherence to ethical and regulatory standards, and active contribution to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices and trauma-informed approaches. Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring client progress. Strong skills in documentation, case management, and coordination of services with community and justice-system partners. Clear, professional communication skills for interaction with clients, colleagues, and external agencies; ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries. Familiarity with behavioral health, substance use treatment, prevention services, and reentry support for justice-involved individuals. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; relevant state licensure or certification preferred. Ability to work on‑site in Greater Orlando, manage a caseload, and adapt to changing client and program needs.
