Steingold's Of Chicago in Chicago, IL is looking for Front of House Specialists to join our team for Evening Service. These hours are Friday Saturday Sunday 7am - 2pm.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, available on weekends, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Wrap or plate food as it comes out of the kitchen
- Accurately ring up customers with confidence and full knowledge of the menu food and beverage
- Have full understanding of priorities and surroundings during slow and busy moments
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area with consideration of your coworkers
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to make assorted Coffee and Cocktails
Qualifications
- Proven working experience in fast casual environment preferred
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively

A real passion for food- how it’s made, how it’s served, and how it’s enjoyed
Clear communication to customers and staff members
Knows how to diffuse situations when mistakes are made
Multitasking while maintaining accuracy
Ability to move with a sense of urgency
Able to see the bigger picture and prioritize certain duties during service
