Plastics Press Operator

Press Operator/Parts Inspector

A plastics manufacturer in Fairview, PA is seeking a press operator / parts inspectors to support production operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. While prior manufacturing or plastics experience is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines to meet production requirements and maintain efficient workflow
  
• Conduct careful visual inspections of small, molded parts to ensure quality standards are met
  
• Assist with weighing, packaging, and labeling molded parts at assigned presses
  
• Support molding operations as needed, including reworking on-hold parts, sorting returned parts to isolate defects, and relieving other operators on the floor
  
• Report production issues, such as equipment problems or defective products, to QA or supervisory staff
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Good eyesight for inspecting small parts
  
• Strong work ethic and reliability; attendance is critical
  
• Prior manufacturing or plastics experience preferred but not required
  
• Must have reliable personal transportation
  
• Successful completion of a background check

• Pay Rate: $14/15+hr
