(TRANSPORTATION) Administrative Office Assistant (Part-Time)

GRADE: 62 SALARY: $16.47/hour Sampson Area Transportation is seeking a part‑time Administrative Office Assistant to provide general clerical, administrative, and customer service support for the department. This position helps address client needs by serving as the first point of contact for the general public. In This Role, You Will Welcome visitors at the front desk Answer incoming client calls and direct calls as appropriate Receive and respond to general inquiries and service requests Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail Operate a variety of standard office equipment Maintain vital office records What We're Looking For Team players who can work independently and collaboratively to support daily operations Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to provide high-quality customer service Ability to establish trust and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees through strong interpersonal skills A high school diploma and previous office experience are required for all applicants. A valid driver's license for the State of North Carolina is also required. Work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM; hours may vary based on staff availability.
