In this role, you'll take ownership of assigned routes, drive the street sweeper, and operate specialized equipment to keep streets clean and well-maintained.The job responsibilities below outline the core duties and expectations of a position, providing clarity on how the role supports Company goals. However, not all duties can be listed, and as business needs evolve, responsibilities may shift over time to reflect new priorities, processes, or technologies:Safety & Inspection: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards. Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning route.Execution: Review assigned routes thoroughly prior to departure. Be proactive in asking clarifying questions if the route or expectations are unclear. Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining expected quality and attention to detail.Equipment Operation: Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols. Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.Material Handling: Handle materials safely and securely; Apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.Reporting: Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.Professional Communication: Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed.Compliance & Documentation: Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and forms.Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond appropriately to changes and challenges; identify and solve issues timely.Regular & Predictable Attendance: The ability to consistently report to work on time and as scheduled, with minimal unexcused absences. This includes being present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, and reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.Minimum Job RequirementsMinimum job qualifications define the essential skills, experience, and abilities needed to succeed in the role.
