Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years ICU/TELE experience with medical/surgical trauma/critical patients required 2. Cases: Level One Trauma experience required; medical/surgical trauma/critical patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; all certifications required to be in hand at submission 4. License: KY or Compact license required at time of submission; will not accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Teaching hospital experience required 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Minimum of 6 weekend shifts per schedule period required; patient ratios 2:1 days, nights, weekends 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; first 2 weeks only single days off; no holiday RTO accepted; no RTO approved after assignment starts 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone for 6 months to return as traveler; must disclose if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted within 100 miles for most specialties (75 miles for Cath Lab RN, IR RN, Radiology) 11. Background: Will not accept any licensure hits; submission will be rejected if license hits present 12.
