Accounts Payable Manager

Hammonton, NJ (Hybrid) | $40-$52/hr | Contract-to-Hire

Beacon Hill is partnering with a professional services firm in Hammonton, NJ that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to step into a leadership role, oversee the full accounts payable function, and help drive process improvements within a growing organization.

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment processing

Supervise and mentor AP team members

Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment batches

Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Monitor AP aging and maintain strong vendor relationships

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

Develop and improve AP policies, procedures, and workflows

Partner with accounting and leadership teams on reporting and process improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications

5+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Previous AP leadership or management experience required

Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices

Experience managing high-volume invoice processing

Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with day-to-day responsibilities
