Kickstart your life sciences career in Spring, TX with a top-tier global biotechnology leader! We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Tech to join an innovative DNA Production team, executing essential daily workflows and gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

• Hours: 6a-2:30pm Mon-Fri

responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily setup, execution, and precise documentation of DNA production processes.
• Operate, maintain, and clean specialized laboratory equipment according to defined SOPs.
• Accurately track sample data using Microsoft Office Suite, internal software, and web applications.
• Prepare reagents and samples by following written instructions and performing basic calculations.
• Prioritize and multitask to meet strict production timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and fully compliant laboratory environment.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing or completed 1-2 years of college coursework toward a scientific degree (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology).
• Fundamental reading, written communication, and basic math skills.
• Proficiency with PC navigation, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime.

Preferred:

• Prior hands-on academic or industrial laboratory experience.
• Familiarity with standard lab instrumentation and safety protocols.
