Custodian - Substitute

Summary:
The Custodian - Sub is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a substitute position that may require working at various locations within the district.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other facilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Stock and maintain supplies
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Communicate with staff and administrators regarding any issues or concerns
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
