Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support badging and sign-in processes when applicable, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Assist with de-escalation support, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate with site leadership and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, or facility-related incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
