PM Receptionist

The Afternoon Receptionist assists the KGH staff in providing an organized, smooth, and operational clinic. The Afternoon Receptionist must present in a professional manner, display excellent customer service, and be able to assist clients, therapists, and management.
Job Responsibilities
Welcomes current and prospective clients and other guests in a prompt and friendly/professional manner, responding to inquiries with a sense of urgency.
Answers incoming calls and provides accurate information to callers, taking messages or transferring calls when appropriate.
Notifies appropriate parties of client cancellations, late pickups, etc.
Carries out office operations such as typing, photocopying, scanning, filing, computer work, and other office activities.
Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail including items received from clients and completes IT device shipping and receiving.
Follows the check out process and maintains the float IT equipment.
Assists in requesting and collecting updated documentation from families and visitors.
Maintains a clean and welcoming waiting room, kitchen, and restroom.
Ensures waiting room materials and client information bulletin boards are organized and current.
Dispenses and stocks office, restroom, and therapy room supplies.
Supports staff and management with client and clinic related tasks including maintenance of therapy rooms with necessary materials and sanitizing items.
Performs opening and/or closing duties to include wiping counters, running dishwasher, turning on/off appliances, unlocking/locking doors and filing cabinets, etc.
Always maintains confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA/HITECH laws and regulations.
Complete other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Required
1. Must be a minimum of 16
Preferred
1. High school diploma or college degree
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledgeable in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Familiarity with children with special needs a plus
