Goshen Health Pharmacists contribute to our mission of improving the health of our communities. Located in our 5-time Magnet Designated hospital for nursing excellence, Pharmacists experience strong work-life balance with access to our wide range of benefits, including Paid Time Off, 401k with Employer Match, and Medical Insurance. Through direct collaboration with pharmacy technicians, nursing colleagues and providers, Goshen Health pharmacists perform the following:- Review, interpret, and enter/verify medication orders
- Assess and implement clinical opportunities to optimize medication use
- Serve as a medication resource for other healthcare professionals including nursing and providers
- Dispense medication and verify accurate compounding and distribution of medications by Pharmacy Technicians.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Preferred Experience: Experience preferable; a new graduate who has completed an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) as part of the academic program is acceptable.
- Certifications Required: Current license as a registered pharmacist issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
