Position Summary Join Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk practice and help organizations secure cloud transformation at scale. As a Cloud Architect, Senior Consultant, you will support clients in defining cloud security strategy, designing secure architectures, and implementing solutions across leading cloud platforms. This role offers the opportunity to lead portions of client engagements, deliver cloud security capabilities, and help organizations manage cyber risk while enabling innovation.Recruiting for this role ends on 12/31/2026.Work you'll doAs a Cloud Architect, Senior Consultant on the Cloud Cyber Risk team, you will be responsible for…Lead workstreams across cloud cyber risk engagements, including assessment, design, implementation, and post-implementation activities.Design and evaluate cloud security architectures, configuration standards, and risk mitigation approaches across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.Develop client deliverables, including technical assessments, architecture designs, security recommendations, implementation plans, and remediation roadmaps.Support the implementation and optimization of cloud security technologies, including cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, and DevSecOps controls.Contribute to practice development through solution development, market research, proposal support, knowledge sharing, and support for junior practitioners.A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team helps organizations pursue growth, innovation, and performance through proactive management of cyber risk. Professionals in this practice work across industries to design, implement, and scale cloud security solutions.QualificationsRequired:4+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, technology risk, or technology consulting2+ years of experience designing, assessing, or implementing security solutions in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud environments2+ years of experience with cloud security architecture, control design, or cloud configuration standards2+ years of experience with cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, or DevSecOps controlsBachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or another technical fieldAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.Preferred:Experience leading project workstreams or technical deliverables for cloud security or cybersecurity engagementsExperience with cloud transformation or migration programs in enterprise environmentsExperience with security controls aligned to International Organization for Standardization 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, or System and Organization Controls 2Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or CloudFormationExperience with container security, Kubernetes, or application security testingCloud security or cloud platform certificationsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,400 to $207,800.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
