Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) is sought for a facility located in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a 36-bed unit, utilizing advanced telemetry technologies and adhering to strict clinical pathways. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7 PM 7 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education and experience: No minimum experience required. Facility requires strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes, positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and interpersonal skills, desire for excellence, accountability, ability to multitask, and ability to deal with stressful situations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting telemetry rhythms.
• Additional Information: This unit is Pathways to Excellence Certified, a Certified Stroke Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, and Level II Trauma Center. The staff is highly experienced, with many nurses nationally certified, including the unit manager. The environment features advanced technology such as iMobile devices, Dynamaps that upload to Meditech, and an advanced call light system. Self-scheduling is available within guidelines. The broader healthcare environment emphasizes high employee engagement scores and quality measures. Holidays and every other weekend shifts are required.
