Job Description

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Sacramento based client to identify a detail-driven Data Analyst to support reporting, dashboard development, and performance analytics across a data-rich, mission-focused environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong analyst who excels at transforming complex datasets into clear insights, building dashboards, supporting cross-functional reporting needs, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The Data Analyst will develop analytical products, fulfill data requests, maintain dashboards, support performance measurement, and collaborate with internal teams to drive informed decision-making.

• Pay: $32-$50/Hour (DOE)
• Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, outcomes, and performance issues.
• Fulfill internal/external data requests; prepare recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Build and maintain dashboards for leadership, program monitoring, and public reporting.
• Track key performance indicators and support outcome analysis.
• Validate data, resolve quality issues, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with departments on reporting needs and present findings clearly.
• Maintain documentation, report files, dashboard notes, and analytical records.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and briefing materials.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Ability to develop dashboards, reports, and analytical products.
• Strong communication skills; able to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of data governance, documentation standards, and reporting logic.
• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related analytics experience.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
