Energy Systems Development Engineer

Energy Systems Development Engineer Job Description Design, develop, and release vehicle energy systems including HV battery, energy management, thermal, charging, and 12V systems. Own component and system requirements, specifications, and interface definitions across the development lifecycle. Lead DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation activities to ensure safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate CAD, simulation, and system-level integration activities with cross-domain teams. Support development of control strategies and system architectures using MBSE/MBD approaches. Manage supplier technical deliverables, design reviews, and issue resolution. Support bench, vehicle, and system-level testing, including root cause analysis of issues. Ensure cost, weight, quality, and timing targets are consistently achieved. Collaborate closely with software, hardware, thermal, and vehicle integration teams.
