Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with educational teams
• Commitment to ethical practices and student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Provide both one-on-one and group therapy within school settings
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based intervention teams as needed
