Certification standards as established by the Louisiana State Department of Education Reports To: Pupil Appraisal Manager Job Goal: To assist in counseling, screening and evaluating suspected exceptional students and to assist in the re-evaluation of identified exceptional students Term: Nine, Ten, or Eleven Months Salary: Nine, Ten, or Eleven Month Teacher Salary Schedule Nine, Ten, or Eleven Month Student: Pupil Appraisal Salary Schedule Performance Responsibilities: To serve as a member of the appraisal team with responsibility in appraisal of intelligence factors To collect and analyze appraisal data To provide consultation to teachers, professional personnel, parents and community agencies To establish and execute a professional growth and self-evaluation plan To work effectively with school personnel and staff To consistently demonstrate self-direction To submit accurate records and reports promptly To exhibit professional ethics To foster open communication and positive relationships with school personnel and staff To foster open communication and positive relationships with the community To perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Special Education To follow state and School Board policies
