Radiology/IR Tech Shift: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri Years of experience REQ: 2 First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: after hours weekday and weekends Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI Skills REQ: Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, PACS, Angioplasty, Aortography, Chest Tube Placement, Embolization, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter removal, Inferior vena cavagram, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Pelvic angiography, Percutaneous Hepatic Angiography, Pulmonary arteriography, Renal Angiography, Selective visceral angiography, Stent placement, Superior vena cavogram, Thoracentesis, Angiography of genitourinary system, Catheter/drain exchange, Cholecystostomy, Embolization, Gastrostomy, Internal/external biliary drainage, Nephrostomy, Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, Renal Angiography, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Angioplasty, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Accessing/Managing Ports, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Central Venous Lines- Care and Maintenance, PICC Lines- Care and Maintenance, GE Innova IGS, Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Prep access site, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Sterile Technique Is on-call REQ? Yes, weeknight and weekend rotation Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed. Locals accepted: No, home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements: no call required. Working in the main bldg, cancer center clinic on the ground floor at MBMC. Previous oncology experience would be helpful, helping to coordinate our clinic patients through their cancer journey, refill requests, Epic inbasket monitoring, some patient education.
