Senior HVAC Service Technician
Jake's Heating & Air is actively seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to independently handle residential HVAC service calls.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems independently
- Perform advanced diagnostics on air conditioning systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and ventilation systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Identify repair issues quickly and provide customers with clear solutions
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every service call
- Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Recommend repair and replacement solutions when appropriate
- Work closely with dispatch and management teams to maintain daily efficiency
- Assist in mentoring junior technicians when needed
Qualifications
- Required
- Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- EPA Certification required
- Experience servicing residential HVAC systems independently
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preferred
- Experience with heat pumps, split systems, package units, and gas furnaces
- Light commercial HVAC experience
- NATE Certification preferred but not required
- Experience mentoring junior technicians
- Experience presenting repair recommendations to customers
