Medical Assistant

Job Summary The Medical Assistant will support an Otolaryngology clinic by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This temp-to-hire role requires at least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in adult outpatient care, and involves patient rooming, autoclaving, and high-level disinfecting. The candidate must be local and open to permanent placement following the contract period. Responsibilities Assist clinicians by rooming patients and preparing them for exams. Perform autoclaving and high-level disinfecting of medical instruments and equipment. Support clinical workflows in a fast-paced otolaryngology outpatient clinic. Chart patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records. Float between Issaquah and Ballard otolaryngology clinics as needed within skillset. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Required Skills & Certifications Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in adult outpatient care. MA-C preferred; MA-R acceptable if necessary. Proficient in clinical tasks including patient rooming and instrument sterilization. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems. Willingness to commit to a temp-to-hire opportunity. Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience in an Otolaryngology (ENT) clinical setting. Previous training or experience with autoclaving and high-level disinfecting. Special Considerations This is a temp-to-hire position requiring candidates to be local within a 50-mile radius. No weekends, holidays, or on-call duties are required. Candidate must be open to permanent employment at the end of the contract. Floating between clinic locations may be required based on manager discretion. Scheduling Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, no weekends or holidays.
