Physical Therapist (PT) – Full-Time & Per Diem
AVIR at San Angelo is a patient-centered rehabilitation and wellness facility dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized care. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life in a supportive and compassionate environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in both full-time and per diem roles. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical function, mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
Employment Types
- Full-Time: Consistent schedule with benefits eligibility
- The starting hourly rate is $48.00 with adjustments made in accordance with the candidate's experience level
- Per Diem: Flexible, as-needed scheduling
