Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department Description: This position is located in a high-volume emergency department. The facility is recognized for providing high clinical quality and safety. It has been recognized nationally for its healthcare standards and patient safety measures. The emergency department serves a diverse community, accommodating multiple languages. Patient ratios are typically 4:1, with up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Staffing includes technicians for cardiac monitoring and clerks for operational support. Candidates need to demonstrate advanced skills and the ability to perform various procedures. The department is known for its collaborative environment and welcoming culture. All team members are committed to excellence in patient care and experience. This role involves working every other weekend and is subject to departmental needs.
