Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Kingwood, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: The Emergency Department seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring acute ER experience and have the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Perform typical nursing procedures including IV starts, blood draws, and resuscitation as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 during shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Required certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting is mandatory.
• Trauma experience is preferred but not required.
