Minimum Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and practices. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) Experience with telemetry monitoring and wound care specialization. Previous work experience in a ambulatory surgery center or acute care environment. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform wound care management and telemetry monitoring to detect and respond to changes in patient status. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team to ensure holistic and patient-centered care. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
