ABOUT THE ROLE

Seaside is seeking a proactive and dependable professional who shares our commitment to serving others well. Working alongside a Lead Advisor, you help care for new and existing client relationships and serve as a key liaison between the Lead Advisor and the Client Service Associate team to deliver an exceptional financial planning experience. You treat every client and colleague the way they want to be treated, communicate with honesty and transparency, and take genuine ownership of your work, standing behind both the wins and the lessons. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Supporting the Founder and other team members as needed

CREATE EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT EXPERIENCES

• Create review meeting agendas that demonstrate we listen and pay attention to detail
• Prepare and update the financial plan in eMoney prior to review meetings
• Take the lead in meeting preparation so the Lead Advisor can focus on their core strengths
• Document meeting notes, complete agreed-upon action steps, and follow up to report status
• Distribute client service tasks to other team members and ensure completion as needed
• Draft the post-meeting email for advisors to send to clients

SUPPORT LEAD ADVISORS

• Build and update financial plans in eMoney, including advanced scenarios such as Roth conversions across tax brackets, long-term care, early retirement, early death, and buy-sell transactions
• Analyze financial data such as income, expenses, investments, and debts, using planning software to model different scenarios
• Conduct Social Security analysis and compare timing strategies
• Research client solutions such as annuities, insurance, and other advanced planning topics to support Lead Advisor decision-making and client recommendations
• Prepare and interpret tax analysis, including multi-year tax projections, in Holistiplan
• Conduct portfolio audits and risk analysis in Nitrogen
• Support firm-wide new client onboarding, including initial financial plan builds and uploads to eMoney, Wealth.com, and Holistiplan
• Maintain accurate client records, notes, and workflows in Redtail
• Coordinate with the trading team on model updates and rebalancing
• Communicate with clients by phone and email to gather information and provide updates
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality and competitiveness of client support across the firm tech stack (Redtail, Holistiplan, eMoney, Charles Schwab, Orion, GReminders, Nitrogen, Wealth.com)
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development

SUPPORT THE FOUNDER AND TEAM MEMBERS AS NEEDED

• Provide direct support on matters requested by the Seaside founder, typically related to scheduling, vetting software, and coordinating with other team members
• Maintain an up-to-date manual of business processes and procedures in Trainual
• Create, streamline, improve, automate, and document business processes
• Review and maintain the firm training program in Trainual
• Assist with maintaining the firm digital business development collateral
• Collaborate with the founder and team to develop and deliver digital marketing content
• Serve as a liaison with the Client Service team on administrative duties such as paperwork, documentation, scheduling, and client record maintenance in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support new client onboarding, including gathering documentation and providing ongoing support with account inquiries and requests
• Leverage software and tools to design systems that create efficiencies for staff, such as automating insurance reviews and beneficiary updates
• Mentor and train interns and Client Service Associates

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• Experience in client service and/or operations in the financial services industry, preferably with an independent registered investment advisory firm
• Series 65, or the ability to obtain it within an agreed period after hire
• CFP®, or a commitment to begin coursework and obtain it within an agreed period after hire
• Industry knowledge required; professional designations are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with CRM, document management, and portfolio accounting software preferred
• Experience with our tech stack a plus (Redtail, Holistiplan, eMoney, Charles Schwab, Orion, GReminders, Nitrogen, Wealth.com)
