Hybrid Finance Full-Time Description About the Role The Staff Accountant plays a vital role inmaintainingthe financial health of the organization by managing day-to-day accounting functions, performing account reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting and budgeting. This is a role for someone who is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and looking to grow in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities Daily Accounting Operations: Assist withday-to-day accounting functions includingcashandcredit cards,accounts payable, accounts receivable,fixed assetsand general ledger maintenanceamong otherareas. Reconciliations: Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and revenue to the appropriate accounts. Financial Reporting: Assistwith the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis. Compliance: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures. Audit & Tax Support: Assist with tax preparation, audits, and other regulatory filings as needed. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support on accounting-related inquiries. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
