Sr. Java Developer

Job Description Insight Global is looking to add a Sr. Java Developer to join a global integration team supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative, working closely with a centralized development team in Brazil responsible for rolling out SAP S/4HANA across Canada and the United States. The primary focus of this role will be designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions that enable data exchange into and out of SAP S/4HANA while building custom "carve-out" functionality required to support unique business processes not covered by standard SAP capabilities. The developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining Camel K routes and integration pipelines, deploying solutions into development and test environments, and ensuring quality through unit testing and validation. This individual will serve as a bridge between business and technical teams by gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, addressing gaps in functional and technical specifications, and obtaining stakeholder sign-off before production deployments. • 3+ years of Java development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Camel K
• 1+ years of experience deploying applications within Kubernetes environments
• Strong understanding of API development, messaging, and data integration patterns
• Experience creating and executing unit test cases
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive work independently
• Experience creating and executing unit test cases - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or integrations
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Python development or scripting experience
• Experience supporting global enterprise transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with cloud-native development and containerized applications Insight Global
