Taco John's of Iowa's first restaurant opened on February 19th, 1973, making it the first quick-service Mexican restaurant in Iowa. It was so new in the area that some of the first customers would ask for a "tay-co". As a Shift Leader, you are an essential part of the success of our restaurant. You help to deliver savory results to our customers who walk in our doors every day! Your responsibilities include overseeing shift positions and duties, managing food quality, safety, and cost, handling all cash transactions accurately, and ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded. Building on a great team and accepting new tasks with enthusiasm comes easy for you. You have a willingness to learn and are able to converse with customers and resolve complaints if there are any. Your reliability and consistency in showing up to work on time with a positive attitude will ensure your success as a Shift Leader at Taco John's!
