Commercial Surety Underwriter

Partnering with a regional leader, the full-time remote Executive Underwriter, Commercial Surety will conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to evaluate credit quality and underwriting acceptability while managing a book of business and developing strong relationships with producers. Key responsibilities Gather and analyze information to evaluate credit quality and risk acceptability using appropriate underwriting techniques Develop and maintain relationships with assigned producers while identifying new business opportunities within the territory Continuously monitor assigned accounts for compliance and prepare underwriting submissions with recommendations and decisions Required qualifications Minimum of three years of surety underwriting experience or equivalent related experience AFSB designation preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software products Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
