We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable communication, and an exceptional client experience from start to finish.\n\nPosition Summary\nThe FF&E Installer is responsible for the hands-on installation, assembly, and adjustment of commercial furniture and fixtures in accordance with project plans and manufacturer standards.\nThis role works under the direction of an Installation Lead or Foreman and plays a key role in delivering clean, accurate, and timely installations. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works well as part of a team, and is dependable on active commercial jobsites.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Install, assemble, and adjust commercial FF&E including systems furniture, desks, seating, casework, fixtures, and accessories.\n Follow installation drawings, layouts, and manufacturer instructions accurately.\n Assist with unloading, staging, and organizing furniture, hardware, and materials.\n Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.\n Perform basic measurements, leveling, and alignment to ensure proper installation.\n Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.\n Communicate progress, issues, or damaged materials to the Installation Lead or Foreman.\n Support punch-list completion, service requests, and warranty-related work as needed.\n Protect finished surfaces and client property during installation.\n Represent Ably Built professionally while on job sites.\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n 1+ year of experience in commercial FF&E installation, furniture assembly, or related construction work.\n Basic ability to read and follow installation drawings and layouts.\n Familiarity with common hand tools and power tools.\n Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work safely on active commercial job sites.\n Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.\n Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team.\n Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n Experience installing systems furniture, modular furniture, or commercial casework.\n Prior experience working on occupied commercial sites.\n OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain.\n Interest in career growth toward Installation Lead or Foreman roles.\n\n\nWhy Join Ably Built\n\n Competitive pay with opportunities for advancement\n Consistent commercial work with professional teams\n Training and mentorship from experienced installers and leads\n Company culture focused on quality, accountability, and teamwork\n\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
