Project Manager

OBJECTIVE As a Project Manager you will be an integral part of the CEC team. We help customers run their organizations better through the technology solutions we provide and you can be part of this essential mission. The Project Manager leads projects to ensure optimal performance and peak efficiencies while overseeing completion of developed company and team goals. Every day is different, challenging, and rewarding. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Project Notification: ensures customer is contacted within 48 hours of project award. Reviews overall project objectives and timelines with the customer and establishes ongoing communication strategy. Ensures all required project information has been provided to Operations from Sales and Engineering. Assigns project related tasks within ConnectWise in relation to timeliness. Project Information Review: reviews all information with key stakeholders to address questions and unknowns. Project Planning: creates project plan with milestones to be able to achieve overall project budgets and time lines. Assists in the creation of Gantt charts, Risk Register, Site Safety Plans as required. Adjusts the project plan and communicates any changes for the duration of the project lifecycle to all stakeholders. Project Review with Customer: reviews system functionality, schedule, and plan with customer. Kick‑Off Meeting: leads project Kick‑Off meeting and communicates the project plan and reviews all milestones. Executing Project Plan: performs constant site evaluations, safety inspections, and CEC Service ticket completion. Communicates changes in the scope, order ticket changes in the schedule, timeline and the project clarification process; adjusts project plan as needed. Ensures project punch list status system testing is completed, conducts customer training, and documents compliance. Assists CEC Sales/Engineering in pre‑sale functions by sharing and/or compiling specific customer knowledge and decision. Assists with onsite training and mentoring of experienced team members. Works alongside the Project team to ensure safety and quality objectives are met by adhering to industry codes and best practices. Project Lead responsibilities as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Manager leads the project team and collaborates with the customer for stakeholder engagement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of technology experience within CEC core similar company. 3+ years of leadership experience within CEC core similar company. 2 safety‑related certifications. Strong organizational skills, conflict‑resolution skills and proactive creative skills. Ability to manage and manipulate meetings and presentations. Excellent PC proficiency (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of Excel. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Required to climb ladders up to 12 feet high or be in a lift to extended heights.
