You Have: 2+ years of experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, or engineering supportExperience supporting engineering implementation planning, sustainment engineering, or technical reviewsExperience with routing and switching technologies, and Layer 2 and 3 network protocolsKnowledge of network design and architecture, OSI model concepts, transport layers, and system interoperabilityKnowledge of cryptographic equipment, network security technologies, and firewall implementationsAbility to perform Tier III troubleshooting of complex issuesAbility to interpret network diagrams, engineering documentation, and lab test outputsAbility to travel up to 10% of the timeSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have: Experience conducting network health assessments or supporting modernization effortsExperience performing lab automation or developing repeatable test workflowsKnowledge of gateway protocols, virtual routing and forwarding, or optical networkingKnowledge of mission‑aligned enterprise networking standards and emerging technologiesAbility to identify improvements for network resiliency, capacity, or securityAbility to mentor junior engineers or support higher‑level planning effortsPossession of strong communication skills, for technical discussions and engineering reviewsTop Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree in an Engineering, IT, or Cyber fieldCCNA, CCNP, or Security+ CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
