Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia in pre-op, phase 1, and phase 2 settings
• Manage recoveries from procedures such as heart catheterizations and various surgeries
• Handle EPIC charting for accurate patient records
• Collaborate with Perioperative Care Assistants for comprehensive patient care
• Read and interpret heart monitoring strips

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience; cardiac experience preferred
