Respiratory Polysomnographer

We seek a highly skilled and licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform respiratory and neurodiagnostic procedures, specializing as a Polysomnographer/Sleep Technician. The role involves conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients, and collaborating with healthcare teams to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:

• Perform polysomnographic and neurodiagnostic studies according to established protocols.
• Monitor and record physiological data during sleep studies.
• Prepare and maintain equipment used in respiratory and sleep diagnostics.
• Analyze data and provide preliminary reports to physicians and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioners License.
• Experience in polysomnography or sleep technology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory and neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

• Certification in Polysomnography (e.g., RPSGT) or related sleep technology credentials.
• Experience with neurodiagnostic testing.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and data analysis software.

• Must hold and maintain an active Respiratory Care Practitioners License.
• May require working with patients during overnight or irregular hours.
• Compliance with all clinical safety and infection control protocols.

• Shift schedules may include nights, weekends, or rotating shifts based on patient needs and facility requirements.
• Shift assignments determined by department scheduling policies.
