Also, the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist position will interact closely with family members and various government agencies including the Department of Human Services, Social Security Administration, and Veteran's Administration. Requirements: Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. Basic knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations required. Licenses/Certification: N/A Experience: Complete understanding of the Federal, State, Local laws, regulations, and guidelines that governs the administration of the Medical Assistance Programs in D.C., Maryland, Virginia.
