Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$1880.06/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic, neurosurgery, general surgery, and urology cases. Ensure patient safety, deliver compassionate care, and adhere to clinical standards throughout the surgical recovery process. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to surgical needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for adverse reactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth surgical transitions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, interventions, and outcomes. Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Float within the hospital to support various surgical units as required. Qualifications: Valid active PA or Compact RN license required at submission. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical surgical or surgical nursing setting. Current and relevant AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS). Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts) and every other holiday.
