Behavioral Coach
Responsible for carrying out elements of the treatment plan and the provision of behavioral coaching to reduce crisis incidents. Most tasks are carried out in the community, especially in family homes. This is an at-will direct service position within a program. The position is responsible for assisting and advocating for our members in all areas of treatment and coaching our members to reduce crisis incidents.
Essential duties and responsibilities include working in partnership with parents who are treated as experts concerning their families, helping to conduct strength/needs assessments, assisting with interdisciplinary team meetings, completing tasks associated with the START Model, coordinating care with system partners, enlisting community resources to support the family, keeping coordinators and supervisors informed of significant treatment issues, providing prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, providing support to other staff members and program members as needed, meeting service productivity standards, and maintaining required record keeping.
Licenses, certificates, and special requirements include a California driver's license, current vehicle insurance/registration, reliable means of transportation, a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with the flexibility to work from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 an hour.
