Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages according to established menus and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all operational guidelines.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, staff, and visitors during meal times.
• Monitor food quality and report any issues or shortages to the supervisor promptly.
• Support team members in daily kitchen tasks and participate in routine cleaning and maintenance activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role.
• Certification in food handling or food safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Familiarity with inventory management and kitchen equipment operation.

• Experience working in an educational or institutional food service setting.
