Job Position: Home Health Aide

Location: Tybee Island, GA 31328

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Description: We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Home Health Aide, CNA, or Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Tybee Island area. This is a consistent part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys providing personalized care and helping clients remain comfortable and supported in their home environment.

The client is currently bedbound , so the ideal caregiver will be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, assisting with repositioning and mobility in bed, and supporting the client's daily needs with patience, professionalism, and dignity.

Schedule

• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Approximately 16 hours per week
• Consistent weekly schedule

Candidates should be able to reliably commit to the scheduled days and hours.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Aide/Caregiver will provide individualized assistance based on the client's plan of care. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs
• Providing incontinence and toileting care
• Assisting with changing briefs and maintaining proper hygiene
• Helping with bed mobility, positioning, and regular repositioning for comfort and safety
• Assisting with feeding as needed
• Preparing simple meals, snacks, or beverages for the client
• Ensuring the client has necessary personal items within reach
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Observing the client's condition and reporting any significant changes or concerns as appropriate
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for the client
• Performing light housekeeping directly related to the client's care, such as tidying the immediate care area, changing linens, and cleaning up after meals
• Following established safety procedures and infection-control practices
• Following the client's individualized plan of care and any instructions provided by the supervising care team
• Treating the client and family members with professionalism, respect, patience, and compassion at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience providing care for bedbound or limited-mobility clients
• CNA certification preferred, but experienced caregivers may also be considered
• Previous home health, private-duty, assisted living, long-term care, or similar caregiving experience preferred
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal and incontinence care
• Ability to safely assist with repositioning and other physical aspects of caregiving
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule
• Compassionate and patient approach to client care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and an established plan of care
• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home in Tybee Island, GA
• Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate communication with the care team

Pay: $18.00 per hour
