Financial Analyst, Corporate AccountingLinde Inc.Danbury, CT, United States | req31871What You Will Enjoy DoingPerform monthly global consolidation and reporting procedures, including intercompany validation, account analysis, and dispute resolutionManage monthly consolidation entries with proper documentation, tracking, and facilitation of reviewConduct consolidated equity rollforward and detailed analysis and prepare and analyze monthly derivatives entriesMaintain and update monthly reporting calendars and develop new reporting requirements as neededTrack and complete quarterly and annual government reporting obligationsCoordinate global quarterly accounting and reporting calls across functionsEnsure ongoing compliance with control procedures for SOX and maintain procedural documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, technical accounting, and business units to enhance process efficiency and reduce riskSupport internal and external audit processes during quarterly reviews and annual auditsAssist in preparing quarterly and annual external financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and Modified GAAPWhat Makes You GreatA bachelor's or master's degree in accounting is required and a CPA and/or MBA strongly preferredMinimum 3-4 years of experience in public accounting or mix of public and equivalent private industry experience requiredAdvanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Workiva, Hyperion, JDE, and/or SAP a plusStrong analytical and time management skills with a high degree of intellectual curiosityIdeal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong sense of urgency and accountabilityWhy You Will Love Working With UsLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
