Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath LAB

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience. - Circulating and monitoring experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Structural heart experience highly preferred. - EP experience highly preferred. - Scrubbing experience preferred. - Trauma Level I experience preferred.

Special Requests: - Past UPH employees who were FTE or PRN in the UPH float pool within the past 12 months cannot work travel in another market. This separation policy does not apply to travelers who previously worked travel at UPH. - Cannot promise block scheduling.

Unit Details: - May be asked to precept as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week. - Holiday rotation. - On-call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend: 7:30p Friday through 7a Monday.

Floating Requirements: - Must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units if needed; campuses are minutes within one another.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
