Food Service Director Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Director to join our team at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio. As a key member of our leadership team, the Food Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining services, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Responsibilities: Lead the Food Service Team: Supervise and train a team of food service staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, quality food presentation, and efficient service delivery. Develop and Manage Menus: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our guests, while also considering our budget and resources. Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, ensuring compliance with local health and sanitation regulations and guidelines. Manage Inventory and Budget: Oversee food inventory, ordering, and budgeting, ensuring that we are operating within our means and maintaining high levels of food quality. Build Relationships with Vendors: Establish and maintain positive relationships with food suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Assist with Training and Development: Provide training and support to food service staff, assisting with onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing skill development.
