Admissions Counselor

The Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator II, with the working title of Admissions Counselor will report to the Associate Director of Admissions. This position will meet with prospective students and their families in a variety of venues, promoting opportunities at UW-La Crosse, advising them of admission processes, and recruiting students who will contribute to the strength of UW-La Crosse. This Admissions Counselor will focus on the recruitment of first year students. The successful candidate will execute recruitment efforts and develop working relationships with students, parents/guardians, high school counselors and community organizations. Extensive auto travel is required year-round, especially during the fall and spring recruitment seasons, primarily in the Midwest. This staff member will collaborate with other Admissions Office staff members, working together to coordinate recruitment activities. All duties shall be executed while demonstrating a commitment to access, belonging, and compliance. This is an on-campus position, and the incumbent will work on the UW-La Crosse campus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
