Description

American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2 years of ER experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, plus an IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting caring for combined adult/pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 10:00 to 22:00
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required in-hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• At least 2 professional references within 3 years of start date required

Additional Information

• Care for a wide range of ER cases including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, psychiatric, and pediatric presentations
• Skills such as IV therapy, EKG interpretation, splinting, and triage are utilized
• Required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the contract
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Former staff may return as travelers after a 6-month break in service
