Project Management Intern

The Project Management Intern will support the Project Management Team in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, resource allocation, financial control, and coordination with Estimating and Superintendents. This role provides practical experience in project management, accounting, estimating, and quality compliance. Five Key Roles of the Project Management Intern: Organizing and planning for the safe and efficient execution of assigned projects Assisting in maintaining financial controls and profit/loss monitoring Assisting in developing and maintaining project schedules Collaborating with the PM team to estimate, price, and negotiate project costs Working with Superintendents and Estimating teams for project collaboration Assisting with department initiatives Expanding knowledge and use of industry best practices and innovation Solving problems as they arise using available knowledge and resources Other duties as assigned Education, Experience & Qualifications: Currently working toward a degree in Construction Management or related field Competency with computers and basic software programs Excellent written and oral communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Creative and results-oriented, with strong sense of urgency and self-motivation Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptable and flexible when working with various individuals Travel: Light travel may be required, typically from office to various job sites. Travel compensation will be provided as applicable. As a Project Management Intern, you will operate in diverse environments, including office and field settings, high/low temperatures, near traffic, loud and frequent noises, confined spaces, heights, and indoor/outdoor settings.
