(18yrs+ to apply) Produce Clerk - Fairview Heights

Job Title

Candidates MUST be available between 6am-9pm and weekends to be considered. This role is offering about 20-25 or more, hours per week.

This represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of produce clerk to include the following:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Stock, rotate and straighten product
• Water and ice down various products
• Wash trim, and wrap product
• Remove any product not meeting company quality standards
• Read and understand department signs
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management

Training will be provided at store level.

Physical demands include bending, stooping, ability to work in a cold, damp environment, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours).

Additional requirements for internal candidates:

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Compensation Pay Range: $15.10 - $16.50
