Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 17:00)

Location: Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital, Spokane, WA

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team. This position involves performing detailed ultrasounds for high-risk maternal and fetal conditions. The sonographer will work closely with three Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians and is responsible for reporting findings and assisting in various procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily.
• Report imaging findings to Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.
• Assist with procedures including amniocentesis, amnio reduction, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS).
• Conduct fetal echocardiograms.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in ultrasound imaging.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer.
• Experience with outpatient settings required.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics is essential.

Work Environment

This position does not require weekend, night, or major holiday shifts. Sonographers will utilize six ultrasound rooms at Sacred Heart Medical Center and two rooms at Holy Family Hospital. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is expected to provide high-quality care.

Additional Information

Traveling sonographers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Communication devices will be provided as required for the role. Candidates must confirm availability for interviews during submission. No prior direct contact with facility representatives is permitted unless for scheduled interviews.
