What You'll Do Financial Reporting (including the design of reporting processes, restatement assistance, and traditional 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K fili ngs)SEC Reporting (including the preparation and review of SEC filings, compliance with SEC rules and regulations, and support with comment letter respon ses)Operational Accounting (addressing the need for continuous improvement and optimization of the finance and accounting functi ons)Implementation of new and existing accounting stan dardCommunicate effectively with clients to convey project findings, updates and recommendat ionsCollaborate with CrossCountry and client team members regarding business issues and potential solut ionsOversee project administration (e.g., project setup and planning, budgeting, account management, bill ing)Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted is suesExperience mentoring and developing team mem bersContribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional stand ardsStay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal proce sses What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience working with companies in one or more of the following areas: financial reporting, operational accounting, implementing new accounting policy, complex transa ctionsIn-depth knowledge of accounting standards (U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS)Transaction based accounting and reporting requirements, including IPOs (S-1), mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs , etc.Prior experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm or management consulting firm)Strong operational and technical accounting background, including experience researching complex technical accounting issuesProfessionalism and discretion when interacting with executives and c lientsComfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and inno vationContinuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client sta ndards Qualifi cations Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance or relat ed fieldCPA or CA certification p referredAvailability to work at client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days remote (hybrid envi ronment)Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%. Travel varies based on client pre ferences For applicants located in Virginia, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity.
